As the fall season starts to settle in and we begin to prepare for winter, inspiration and creativity start to come alive in the city. As a Portlander, I believe I am one of many inhabiters who find Autumn here quite . . . self restoring. The leaves begin to change color, renewing the city to a mystical place. As pumpkins start to appear on doorsteps and spiders begin to swing from trees in the fall breeze; a sense of electricity starts to brew among crowds as creativity and inspiration blossom to their fullest potentials birthing events such as Design Week, MFNW, Saturday Markets, Creative Mornings, Farmers Markets etc.
As a designer, I find that this city only brings the best out of me around this time of year. Surrounded by beauty and a community of people whom also seem to thrive together in an environment such as this, seems almost unreal. Determination, imagination, and renewal are only a few of the vibes one would pick up on around a work place in this city.
Only new adventures lay ahead and await to be discovered with 2015,
